I Can’t Wait for This Event!

And I won’t have to wait long … because tomorrow night at 6:30 Central I will be reading and in conversation with Gina Frangello (Blow Your House Down). Gina’s book is getting the most amazing attention and accolades everywhere—and I mean everywhere!—and for good reason. She’s a rockstar and her book is astonishing. I think I gasped out loud a dozen times while reading. She’s a champion for women and the truth of women’s lives. And, she said just today, and I quote, that The Part That Burns was among her very favorite reads of 2021 so far, and can you imagine how that makes me feel? Really, really good.
