Early Bird Discounts for our Seaside Writing Retreat

Oceans, hearts, stories: it’s all rhythm, isn’t it? When I write, I bring everything I have, my whole self, and all my heart. I want to cover ground, get work done. Real work. Transformative work. I teach the same way. Last weekend, eight writers gathered around my fireplace for our first fall Write for Your Life Memoir Intensive. They wrote so hard it practically shook the house. One of them said, “I have taken dozens of writing classes in New York, San Francisco, and Minneapolis, and I learned more here in one night than in all of those classes combined. Yours was the best writing craft class I have taken, ever.”
Then we all hugged good-bye on Sunday afternoon and went home to our respective houses and slept like rocks. It’s all about rhythm. Work, rest, play, work. Sometimes sleep like a rock.
That’s the plan for our Equinox in Ixtapa Retreat for Writing & Yoga this March, where wondrous things will happen as a result of the rhythm of effort, imagination, element, and artistry we will conjure on the shores of the Pacific. We have six spots left and dearly hope you will join us! Early bird pricing is in effect through November 15, and payment plans are flexible. You don’t need to miss out if a payment plan will help you make it happen. Just reach out and we’ll make it work. This is going to be our deepest, most inventive and intense writing retreat yet, thanks to the rhythm of sun and sea, the equality of night and day, the luxurious stretch of seven days, and the cocooned environment of our seaside wellness resort where the earth’s energy embraces us so palpably.
This retreat appropriate for all levels and genres, as long as you are eager to surrender to the mystery of creative process, enter into it fully, with intent, grit, and plenty of room for joy. That’s the energy of the page. That’s the sound of our voices, cascading toward the next horizon. That’s the sound of our hearts, which beat in time to our stories, which in turn pulse within our cells and also in the world itself. The task is to listen, and then sing it onto the page.
Warmly,
Jeannine
